It was an honor serving as the temporary Worshipful Master of Holly Lodge while Worshipful Brother Bob Beltz and our Senior Warden Wilbur Meadows have been out of town. Hopefully their weather has been better than the “almost-Winter” here. I appreciate the help and guidance of our brothers and friends from Fenton Lodge #109 who joined us.
Holly Elementary, Patterson Elementary and Rose-Pioneer Elementary School are all excited to be participating in our Bikes for Books program. The presentation to the winners will be on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Holly Bike Safety Rally at Patterson Elementary School. More information will be posted on the web site as we get it.
In the next couple of months, the Temple Association will be creating a Master Plan for repairs and improvements to the Holly Masonic Temple. Our highest priorities are replacing the windows in the kitchen and the kitchen floor, and painting/repairing the exterior of the building. The Temple Association will also be scheduling a “spring cleaning” day to organize and de-clutter the Lodge.
We hope to see many brothers out for our Fellowcraft Degree on Thursday, March 15. Dinner will be at 6 p.m., with the degree work beginning at 7 p.m.

Worshipful Brother Carl Davis Named District Mason of the Year

Swartz Creek, Mich. — Worshipful Brother Carl Davis, honorary member of Holly Lodge #134 and Deputy District Instructor for District 16, was awarded the honor of being named Mason of the Year for District 16 and King Solomon’s Club/Ancient District 20 at the annual Mason of the Year dinner hosted by Swartz Creek Lodge #458.
